Job Summary:
Maintain the hotel in an efficient, economical manner to ensure that guests receive a clean, attractive, safe, and secure place to stay.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform equipment, furniture, fixture, building and room preventative maintenance as noted in the Preventative Maintenance Manual.
2. Perform work order request items in a timely manner.
3. Respond to maintenance emergencies by personally repairing any malfunctions that may occur to air conditioning, heating and electrical systems, plumbing, ice machines, water heaters, laundry, restaurant and hot tub equipment.
4. Maintain required records outlined by the General Manager and Maintenance Manager or as required by local authorities (i.e. serial numbers records, equipment preventative maintenance, bench stock inventory, hot tub test log, etc.)
5. Provided security for guests and property by following all key procedures, maintain work areas in a clean, well – organized condition, report suspicious activity by guests or other employees and follow all other safety regulations.
6. Maintain radio communication at all times and respond in a timely and courteous manner to other employee’s requests.
7. Maintain exterior appearance to include trash pick-up, sidewalks cleaned, weed control, lawn and plant care, etc.
8. Provide quick response to any maintenance item that effects guest comfort/ safety and deal with guests in a courteous manner. Guest safety and company policy requires that you do not enter an occupied guest room without another lodge employee present.
9. Maintain regulated hot tubs hours and keep up hot tub appearance.
10. Keep accurate gas records, inventory and maintaining amount on hand.
11. Perform other responsibilities as listed by the groundskeeper job description.
12. Identify and Schedule maintenance requirements on all exterior and interior areas of the hotel.
13. Assure that all work performed is of high quality and meets with state, federal and local rules.
14. Assist in maintaining snowmobile fleet; sled records (parts repairs need for trade), clothing and gas.
15. Assist in running snowmobile center under the direction of snowmobile supervisor.
16. Maximize snowmobile revues by keeping front desk aware of sleds that are available each day for sale.
17. Perform snow removal as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
18. Perform any additional duties as designed by the General Manager.
Pay DOE, $18-$20/Hr, raises, bonuses, pd vacation, and other benefits. Employees will be receive a sign on bonus of up to $500 following 6 months of continuous employment!
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
